2017 HSA Changes

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has provided the 2017 inflation adjusted contribution, deductible, and out-of-pocket spending limits for Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
The limits are as follows:
For self-only coverage:
• The annual contribution limits may not exceed $3,400
• The annual deductible must be at least $1,300
• The annual out-of-pocket limits may not exceed $6,550
For family coverage:
• The annual contribution limits may not exceed $6,750
• The annual deductible must be at least $2,600
• The annual out-of-pocket limits may not exceed $13,100
