One political football that is back in the limelight heading towards the election is health insurance reform.  Like most complicated issues, there is no easy solution to create the coverages we all want at a price we all like.  The price for medical insurance has become substantial as Notable Number 1 points out in this week’s Weekly Market Review.  The statistic details the average annual cost for family health insurance provided through a work-place employer plan, then breaks down how much of the cost, on average, the employer and employee are paying.  The fact of the matter is that health insurance coverage has become a larger line item in the budgets of families and businesses, making it a hot button political issue.

Also, check out the housing statistics in both Notable Numbers 2 and 3.  Even with the pandemic slowing down large parts of our economy, it is good to be a home builder or a home seller right now.

As always, we hope you find the Weekly Market Review both informative and interesting.
