Did you ever play kick the can as a kid?  I can remember the excitement of playing at night with all my cousins during a family get together!  Our elected officials have gotten really comfortable with playing kick the can in relation to our country’s spending limits.  While less than exciting, this is an important issue that can’t be ignored forever.

For the 1st time in 10 years the markets are anticipating an interest rate cut on Wednesday by the Federal Reserve.  While most expect a .25% cut, there are some optimist that are hoping for a .50% cut.  Many would suggest that this rate cut is spurred less by the Federal Reserve’s need to stimulate the United States economy, but more to put our interest rates closer in line with foreign country’s rates.  Many of those foreign countries are still using low interest rates as a stimulus for their economy’s.
